I love deviled eggs and I love macaroni salad. Macaroni salad is my go to for summer picnics. I much prefer it over potato salad. So when Christie of A Kitchen Hoor's Adventures asked us to share our favorite Picnic Party Foods it was only natural that I combine my two favorites.
So I diced up some onions and celery as I always include them in my macaroni salad. Then I mixed together the dressing, including all the flavors that I always put into my deviled eggs, before adding the eggs themselves to the dressing.
Like any mayo based salad, you are going to want to keep this well chilled before serving. When I have a party/picnic at my house I fill a baby pool with ice for all the cold dishes to be nestled into for serving. After dinner, I make sure to place any cold dishes that are left into the refrigerator asap. That wasn't a problem with this salad....there was not a drop left to worry about.
