This year, I served this dish as one of my sides for Easter Dinner. I made a large batch, put it into a casserole, topped it with bread crumbs, and refrigerated it until I was ready to bake it for serving.
It is always a big hit and a common Meatless Monday meal in our household. This is what it looks like straight from the skillet when made for just a few people. I first shared this meal with you in 2017. I was using a different recipe format at that time, so I decided to share it again using a new, printable format.
Last year, for the Letter H, I shared an Asian Beef Bowl, and in 2024, I shared Corned Beef and Cabbage Hash.

My mom used to make a similar cabbage dish so now I do too, but with potatoes for the starch instead of noodles. I love that yours can be made ahead and baked as a casserole. Who doesn't love a crunchy breadcrumb topping!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it would be delicious with potatoes as well, Stacy.
DeleteCabbage was not a part of our dinner fare when I was growing up. I’ve been enjoying so many different dishes with cabbage ever since. This sounds tasty!
ReplyDeleteYes, we are big cabbage fans in this house.
DeleteNoodles without a sauce but full of veggie.. now that is what I like. And an excellent way to get more cabbage included in my menu.
ReplyDeleteFor sure, Mayuri.
DeleteThis sounds very yummy! We like cabbage and I always think I should incorporate it more often. These flavors, the onions and noodles will definitely be a hit here.
ReplyDeleteLet me know how you like it, Kelly.
