Turkey Burger

The Sunday Funday Bloggers are Firing up the Grill today......
Sunday Funday Logo
Amy of Amy's Cooking Adventures is hosting our event this Mother's Day and asked us to join her in sharing some grilling recipes.  I hope Amy is having an amazing day today as she is one of the best Mom's I know.

Let's see what everyone fired up today.......

Turkey Burger Patties

What makes these turkey burgers special is the addition of a little bit of liquid smoke and using Italian flavored bread crumbs instead of plain.  The flavor is wonderful, especially if you like a little bit of smoke in your bbq.

Not a fan of smoke?  No worries...I have you covered with this recipe using Worcestershire and Ketchup to keep them moist instead.

I'm sure Frank and Marissa would be happy to make these burgers up to share with me today if I were home but as you are reading this I am in Nashville with our eldest daughter Amy and her cousin Jen who is like a daughter to me.  We are visiting Jen's daughter Lili who was my very first Grand.

Lili had made plans for us to attend church this morning and go out for a special brunch afterwards.  I don't know if they will have Turkey burgers and if they do, I'm not sure they will be this good.

Happy Mother's Day to all of my readers who help raise the children in our lives.  When I look at my strong daughters and the children they are raising the future looks very bright indeed.
