This delicious quick bread is chock full of dried cranberries and golden raisins. I enjoyed it in the morning with my coffee but it would also make a lovely dessert.

Cranberry Raisin Bread
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/4 c. butter, room temperature
- 1 egg
- zest and juice of one orange
- milk
- 1 c. dried cranberries
- 1 c. golden raisins
Instructions
- Sift together the flour sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a bowl.
- Cut in the butter until crumbly.
- Add egg, zest, orange juice along with enough milk to equal 3/4 cup. Stir to combine. Fold in the cranberries and raisins.
- Scrape the dough into a bread pan that has been treated with baking spray and bake in a preheated 350* oven for 1 hours and 10 minutes, until golden brown and a skewer inserted removes cleanly.
