Caramel Apple Ice Cream Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 box Nairn's Oat Grahams (I used Ginger Stem flavor)
- 1/2 t. vanilla paste ( I used Taylor & Colledge)
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 (21 oz.) apple pie filling
- 2 c. ice cream, softened
- 1 c. caramel sauce (I used Torani)
Instructions:
- Place the oat grahams into a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs remain. Pour into a 9" pie plate. Add the melted butter and vanilla, stir to combine and then press onto the bottom and up sides of the pan. Chill for 10 minutes, until hardened.
- Place 1 cup of the ice cream on the bottom of the crust. Drizzle with 1/2 cup of caramel sauce.
- Add a layer of Apple Pie Filling over the ice cream. Spread the remaining cup of ice cream over the pie filling. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hrs or overnight.
- Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving . Drizzle with remaining 1/2 cup of caramel sauce.
