The Festive Foodies are celebrating National Pretzel Day.......
Jolene of Jolene's Recipe Journal invited us to join her in celebrating all things Pretzel today. Let's take a look at what everyone is sharing........
When Jolene announced this event I started thinking about different pretzel recipes I have shared. I have made pretzel breadsticks, caramel apple pretzels, peanut butter pretzel bars, beer pretzel nuggets, and nutty cracker jack pretzel treats.
I have dipped pretzels in chocolate, used them as breading for chicken strips, and wrapped them around hotdogs.
As I was trying to decide what I should make to celebrate pretzels for this event, I was also planning my Easter Menu. That's when it occured to me that the salty, crispness of pretzels would be a great addition in a streusel for my sweet potato casserole.
So grab yourself a handful of pretzels, pull up a chair and enjoy reading all the pretzel inspired recipes we are sharing today.
