We had a wonderful time visiting and tasting cookies.  Lots of warmth and laughter with wonderful family and friends.  I have included the recipes for the winning cookies below except for most unique which you will find by linking to the Food Network site.
 
Linda's Coconut Snowball Truffles
 
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 lg. bag Flaked Coconut
2 sticks margarine, softened
2 lbs. powdered sugar (8 cups)
 
Large package milk chocolate chips
 
Mix first 4 ingredients and chill for about 2 hours.
 
In double boiler melt chocolate and wax.
 
Roll coconut mixture into 1" balls.  Dip balls with toothpick into warm melting chocolate.
 
Place on parchment paper to harden.
 
Cover toothpick hole with seasonal candy garnish.
 
 
No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
 
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
4 T. cocoa
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
2 t. vanilla
3-3 1/2 c. dry quick oats
 
Add first 4 ingredients into a 4 qt. saucepan.  Bring to a rolling boil and hold one minute.  Remove from heat.  Add peanut butter to hot mixture and stir until melted. Add vanilla.  Mix in the oats and drop by Tablespoon onto parchment paper. Let cool until set.  Print Recipe

    1. They are really good. We used to call them "Mud Cookies" when the kids were young.
