Friday Night Cocktail and The Weekly Menu

This cocktail is the official drink of Catalina Island according to their website.  I learned of it when making a cake named after the cocktail.  I shared the recipe for Buffalo Milk Swiss Roll on Tuesday.  When reading about this cocktail, I noted that we had all the ingredients needed and asked Frank to make us one to try.

They were delicious so I decided to make the cake for our daughter's birthday and to start the celebration with these drinks.

Buffalo Milk Swiss Roll #CakeSliceBakers

There is a popular drink from Santa Catalina Island called Buffalo Milk.  I had never heard of it until I read about it in The Cake Book while reading this recipe.  This cake has all the same flavors of banana, chocolate, and cream.  

I added a scoop of Chunky Monkey Ice Cream.....Perfection!!!!
