I have shared a lot of caramel recipes over the years.  Some of my favorites are this salted caramel cake , this Milky Way Bundt and these Pecan Turtles.  This lovely cocktail has become a new favorite. I love caramel and can't wait to try some of the other recipes being shared today.

Salted Caramel Mudslide

Salted Caramel Mudslide

This cocktail just tastes like fall to me. Perfect when sitting around a bonfire or curled up by the fireplace with a good book.
Prep time: 3 MinTotal time: 3 Min

Ingredients

  • Caramel Sauce 
  • Demera Sugar
  • Ice
  • 1 jigger vodka
  • 1 jigger Irish Cream
  • 1 jigger Coffee Liqueur
  • Freshly ground sea salt

Instructions

  1. Rim a cocktail glass by dipping first into caramel sauce and then into coarse sugar.  Drizzle the inside of the glass with caramel sauce and fill with ice.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.  Add the vodka, Irish Cream and Coffee Liqueur.  Shake until combined and well chilled.
  3. Pour into the glass and top with two grinds of sea salt.  
  4. Cheeers!!
