Sourdough Cloverleaf Rolls #BreadBakers

These tender, delicious, pull-apart, cloverleaf rolls start with sourdough and make a perfect addition to your holiday meal.

Cloverleaf Rolls

The Bread Bakers are sharing Thanksgiving Breads today .......
Swathi of Zesty South Indian Kitchen is hosting today and invited us to make bread suitable for a Thanksgiving Feast.  That could be anything depending on what foods you decide to serve up to celebrate this American Holiday.
BreadBakers

#BreadBakers is a group of bread-loving bakers who get together once a month to bake bread with a common ingredient or theme. You can see all our lovely bread by following our Pinterest board right here. Links are also updated after each event on the #BreadBakers home page. We take turns hosting each month and choosing the theme/ingredient.

I always go with a Traditional Turkey Dinner but try to bring some variety to the table with new side dishes.   However, it is not written in stone that you must have Turkey on Thanksgiving.  My friend Camilla of Culinary Cam, celebrates each Thanksgiving with foods from one of the cultures that make up our melting pot.  I think that is a great idea!!!

Bread Bakers, is itself, a melting pot of bloggers from around the world so I am anxious to see what breads they have brought to the table.

These dinner rolls start with a sourdough starter and require an overnight rise making them the perfect bread to serve on Thanksgiving. Once you have all your other dinner prepareations done and everything is in the oven.  You can pull out your dough and make your clovers at your leisure.  Set them aside for a final rise and when the rest of the dinner is out of the oven and resting, pop these in and they are ready in only 15-20 minutes.

  3. I do love a cloverleaf roll! Yours are so pretty and they remind me of my grandmothers. I don't think they ever made the rolls from scratch but they were a staple at any holiday dinner.
