Beef and Oats Sliders #SundayFunday

The addition of oats to this ground beef keeps the meat juicier and adds extra fiber to make them more filling.  I used one pound of ground beef and a 1/4 c. of oats and ended up with 6 delicious sliders in under half an hour.  You can't get carryout that is as quick or as good.

Renu of Cook with Renu is hosting today and said any recipe that uses oats in a savory fashion was acceptable.  Let's take a look at what everyone cooked up for us today.......

  • Air Fryer Sweet Potato and Oats Smiley from Cook with Renu
  • Beef and Oat Sliders from A Day in the Life on the Farm
  • Egg Muffins with Savory Oatmeal Crust from Amy’s Cooking Adventures
  • Instant Oats Rava Idli from Sizzling Tastebudse
  • Keto Cabbage Egg Toast from Sneha’s Recipe

  • Sliders in pan with cheese

I learned this method of making sliders in the oven from my friend Karen of Karen's Kitchen Stories.  You bake the burger in a pan as you would meatloaf.  When it is cooked close to your desired temperature, remove it from the oven, cut it into serving size portions and add any cheese that you want.  Return it to the oven for another 2 or 3 minutes until the cheese is melted.  Place onto buns and pass the condiments.

The blue cheese burgers are mine and Frank and the Teen each had one with cheddar and one with havarti.
