Honey Apple Baked Brie
Creamy Brie Cheese, smothered with apple butter and honey, wrapped in pastry and baked to a golden brown before being topped with caramelized apples and served with fresh apple slices and crackers. OH MY YUM!!!

Ingredients
- 1 (6-8 oz) wheel brie cheese
- 2-3 T apple butter
- 2 T honey
- 1 roll full sheet crescent dough
- 2 honeycrisp apples
- 2 T butter
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1/4 t. cinnamon
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Cut the top rind from the round of cheese.
- Place onto the crescent roll sheet.
- Cover the exposed top with apple butter and drizzle with the honey
- Enfold the cheese in the pastry, crimping the top together to seal
- Bakein a preheated 425* oven for 25-30 minutes
- Meanwhile, core and slice apples. Sprinkle one with lemon juice and set aside.
- Melt the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon in a skillet. Add the remaining apple and cook until caramelized and slightly softened.
- Pour over the top of the baked brie and serve with the fresh apple slices and crackers for dipping
