Grilled New York Strip Steaks
We all love grilled steaks but for some reason those we get at a steakhouse have a little something extra that we crave when dining at home. Enter a herb compound butter that will transport your steaks from deliciously good to amazingly delicious!!
Prep time: 5 MinCook time: 15 MinTotal time: 20 Min
Ingredients
- 4 New York Strip Steaks
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
- 2 cloves garlic
- handful parsley leaves
- 4-5 basil leaves
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper and allow to come to room temperature.
- Place the garlic cloves, parsley and basil into a food processor and pulse a couple of times until minced. Scrape to the bottom of the bowl and add the butter, pulse until combined. Spoon into a small container and set aside.
- Cook the steaks on a gas grill preheated to medium high for about 10 minutes, flip and cook for another 5 or 6 minutes until desired temperature is reached, 125* for medium rare.
- Place steaks onto platter and top each with 1 Tablespoon of the herb compound butter. Let rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
