We had a Fiesta for the Teen's 17th Birthday. There were enchiladas, fajitas, Mexican pork kebabs, beans, rice and, of course, Margaritas. A pitcher full of Frank's Fantastic Margaritas for the adults and for the teens and the Angel Face we made up some Frozen Strawberry Margarita Mocktails.
This birthday party was held on a Sunday and it was a Funday. It was also very HOT and busy, busy, busy.
I knew that this event, hosted by Kaliyani of Sizzling Tastebuds, was coming up and had bought all the igredients that were needed for this mocktail. Unfortunately, prior to the event, Kaliyani had a family emergency and isn't able to join us today but she is here in spirit and any prayers and good thought sent her way would be appreciated.
When the guests started arriving and we were offering refreshments, I remembered about the Frozen Strawberry Margarita Mocktails and asked Frank to run into the house and make up a couple of batches. He did. They were a big hit with both the Teens, the Angel Face and the adults who were looking for a non alcoholic treat.
But, alas, I was very busy and didn't get any shots of the cocktails before they were guzzled so I had to have the Angel Face model hers for me. She kindly did so and while the photo doesn't do the cocktail a lot of justice it gives you an opportunity to look at that darling face. You're welcome.

That looks delicious...and refreshing. Now if we could only get some sunshine, I might be able to whip up a batch for the patio. Cheers.
