The Weekly Menu for the First Week of October

Holy cow.....This year is just flying by.  Can you believe it is already October 1st?  Now, I am ready for Fall....hopefully a nice, long fall, with crisp weather, gorgeous colors and hiking weather.  The snow can wait until after Thanksgiving, thank you very much.

Pumpkin Pot Pie

I think I will be revisiting this fun recipe for one of our meals this week.  You will find a link to it below in the Weekly Menu.

This past week has been gorgeous, sunny skies and perfect temps.  We were able to get our yard cleaned up from the previous week's storms, close up the pool and put away some of the summer toys and furniture.  We have left a couple of patio sets in place with the hopes of a few more outdoor gatherings pre cold snap. Tomorrow we are having the first of the outdoor gatherings as we have a tapas and wine tasting around the bonfire.

The rest of the week is pretty quiet, just the normal ol’ Life on the Farm stuff.

What foods are you craving with the cooler weather?
