We are heading down to the Waterfront this evening for a Beer and Wine Festival. We are joining our friends, the Luths and our friend, Mickey for dinner at a local restaurant before heading to the festival. I'm looking forward to it. The best part is that it's only a mile down the road so we can walk it if the wines are too delicious to stop at a few sips.
Dinner prior to the festival is at Catch 22, one of our favorite restaurants in the area and one that Jim and Sharon Luth have been wanting to try.
We now have walls in the master bathroom. That was our excitement this past week. The tile guy will be out this week to put in the floor and tile the shower. I can't wait. Won't be long before we are using the Water in our new bathroom.
We are also having a new liner put into our pool on Thursday and filling it with Water. That means Friday or Saturday I will be floating in that Water with a glass of Wine LOL.....
Speaking of Wine, if you are reading this early enough, please join the Italian Food Wine and Travel gang as we discuss the Wines of Lambrusco on twitter chat today at 11 AM ET. You will find us following #ItalianFWT.
On Friday I am going to be sharing a great Wine with you that is perfect for pairing with Blue Cheese. Blue Cheese is a difficult pairing but certainly not impossible as you will learn if you stop by and join me.
So now we are to the Weekly Menu. As mentioned we are eating out tonight but the rest of the week will be spent at home, working on the bathroom, getting the pool up and running and tending to the gardens. The weather is promising to be beautiful so we will be spending time cooking and eating outdoors.
