Who says that ice cream is only for the summertime. This Eggnog Ice Cream is perfect during the holidays. I enjoyed mine curled up on the couch with a Christmas movie on the television.

Egg Nog Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 c. eggnog
- 1 c. half and half
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/2 t. freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggnog, half and half, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and process per manufacturer's instructions.
- Can be served immediately as soft serve or placed into a container, covered with plastic wrap and frozen until desired consistency.

DeleteI adore egg nog ice cream. When we were little, leftover eggnog was frozen and made into ice cream. Now there isn't any left!
