This easy peach crumble takes only 15 minutes to assemble and half an hour to bake. I put it in as we sit down to dinner so that it is hot when I serve it with a scoop of ice cream. Pure bliss.
I invited the Festive Foodies to join me in celebrating peaches today.......
I bought a bushel of peaches on my last trip to the Farmer's Market. I used most of them canning Peach Salsa and Peach Jalapeno Jam. But I had enough left to make us a dessert. I knew a lot of my blogging friends were enjoying peach season as well so I invited them to share their recipes with you.
Let's see what they cooked up........
I decided to go with this crumble because I had been on my feet canning for a few hours and my back was screaming uncle. I had 6 peaches left that I had blanched to remove the skins and decided to use those for dessert as some of the kids were coming for dinner.
I sliced them up and put them in a pie plate. Then I threw together a quick crumble to put over the top.
That was it. I set it aside and popped it into the oven about an hour before I wanted to serve it. A great finish to a productive day and wonderful family dinner.

ReplyDeleteSame here.
DeleteSo far this year we have eaten every peach raw. They have been wonderful! I’m still hoping for one more chance to buy them before the season ends. A crumble sounds like a great idea.
