The Sunday Funday Bloggers are sharing No Bake Desserts today.....
Stacy of Food Lust People Love is hosting this week and invited us all to bring a No Bake Dessert to the party.  Perfect theme, especially during the summertime when we are all looking for that special dish to bring to our next potluck picnic.  Here are some of the great ideas we are sharing with you today....

Nutty Cracker Jack Pretzels Treat

I'm old.....not quite as old as Cracker Jacks that were first introduced at the World Fair in 1893.  Not even as old as Rice Krispie Treats invented in 1939 by Kellogs Home Ec Department for Campfire Girls.

I am old enough to remember Home Ec and I was a Campfire girl.  I also enjoyed both of these iconic treats quite often while growing up and then while raising my children.  Heck, I still enjoy them today.

So when I saw this recipe for these Nutty Cracker Jack Pretzel Treats, I printed it out and tucked it away.  When Stacy announced this weeks theme, I remembered this recipe and dug through my files er piles until I found it.

The Teen came home right after I had finished making them and asked if she could have a piece.  They got her stamp of approval so I knew that I was good to go.  Bring back some happy memories at your next gathering with these fun and easy no bake treats.

  2. My family would like these. Box Cracker Jacks never have enough peanuts anymore but this would fix that issue. It's the kind of thing Bill and Sarah look for in October.

    1. Yes and you could even more peanuts if you wanted. I think next time I am adding mixed nuts to the mixture and leaving out the pretzels
