Easy to make and beautiful to present, these open faced cucumber sandwiches are perfect to serve at your next tea party.
Please join us at our virtual #SipbySip tea party today......
My friend Cam of Culinary Adventures with Camilla invited me to join her and other bloggers in a #SipbySip tea tasting sponsored by Republic of Tea. When we agreed to join her for this virtual tea party Republic of Tea sent each of us tea samples to try. I was provided Daily Beauty, a blueberry and Lavender tea as well as Beauty Sleep, a Chamomile Rose tea.
For today's post, I am showcasing the Blueberry Lavender Tea which is caffeine free, filled with antioxidants from the blueberries and calms you with the lavender flowers.
As you read this, I am currently sitting either beachside or poolside in Cayman Brac. Or perhaps I am under the sea....the most calming place I know. But before this week I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off for the last month and a half. Not only was I running the Lenten Fish Fry for our church and planning our family Easter Dinner but in our spare time we were adopting a teenager and throwing a "Gotcha Gathering" to celebrate the great day!!!
In the middle of all this chaos....after Easter but before our vacation, I found time to sit, relax and regroup with a nice cup of tea and some delicious, easy to make cucumber sandwiches. It was very pleasant....I was going to say Heaven but I think this week I am in Heaven and that was just a prelude.
Let's take a look at what the others brought to the tea party today.....
