I'm going to continue making them though because it does give me a semblance of order and even if the exact menu item isn't prepared another recipe is prepared using the ingredients that were on hand or purchased. So C'est la Vie as they say.....
For instance, last weeks lasagna is being moved to next week. The stew turned into Instant Pot Pot Roast and the leftovers from that dinner were turned into the pot pie pictured above. This was served instead of the Chicken and Noodles. The only meal, last week, that remained the same was the Taco Soup that the Little Miss and the Teen Angel requested.
So yesterday we had a conglomeration of goodies for dinner. Mostly because I had blog posts that needed to be written LOL. We ate before heading out to the Haunted Hayride which was a lot of fun.
Today, we are working at the Harvest Dinner at church. We will eat early because this evening we are going to a Japanese Steak House to celebrate Amy's birthday.

Monday, that Savory Stew is back on the menu. Wednesday night we will be going out to dinner before the theater to see Chicago, the Musical. Thursday I will use up some chicken that I set aside from the one used for soup on Tuesday and try a new crock pot recipe that I found. It will be served up between the Orthodontist appointment and Choir practice. Friday looks like a free night thus far....I sure that our Teenage Socialite will come up with something we "need" to do.
So here is the Weekly Menu, as always it is subject to change so stop by each day to see what I'm sharing with you.
