Welcoming the Cool(er) Weather and the Weekly Menu

It has finally started to cool off here the past few days.  It was miserable the beginning of the month, so hot and humid.  I felt very sorry for those kids and teachers that had to go back to shool in that heat.  Thursday we had a turn around, the temps dropped, the humidity disappeared and my doors and windows are open again.  Life is very good!!

I don't know if we should close up the pool this weekend or not.  Realistically we probably won't use it again this year.  I think that we will close it this year and then in the Spring tear it down and replace it but we are buying the pool now as prices are at the lowest available in the Fall.  Either way we have nothing on the calendar for Saturday so it is going to be a work around the yard/house kind of day.

Sunday we are singing at  9:30 Mass and Amy may be stopping by to visit.  Other than that I think I might be starting the prep for Mel's party next weekend.

Other than that the week is pretty quiet except for Wednesday.  Wednesday is crazy busy with a dentist appointment, followed by food pantry, followed by choir practice.  I will be grabbing fast food on the way from food pantry to choir.  Frank is on his own.

So here is the Weekly Menu, please stop by each day for photos and recipes.
