A Wild Roller Coaster Ride

I finished this book this morning.  What a wild ride!!  This book takes you up, up, up in anticipation....you know that something is going to happen but you have no idea what and then all of the sudden you are off!  It is a white knuckle, up and down ride with lots of hairpin turns...

And then....when the ride ends...you can't wait to get in line and wait with bated breath to take the ride again because it ended way too abruptly, leaving you wondering what might lie behind the turn that the architect had not yet built.

Check out April Booking It for more book reviews.

I strongly recommend this book.  It was one of  those rare books that awakened me in the middle of the night, calling out.....read me, read me, read me......

I have now downloaded Little Girl Lost (DS Lucy Black #1).  I have not yet started reading it but I have a feeling it is going to be an early to bed night since I was up for most of last night finishing "Gone Girl", so perhaps I will get a chapter in before I conk out.

  4. How did you know Peanut and I were going to the library tomorrow!? I'll have to check this out. Have you read Glitter and Glue? Someone recommended that to me as an escape read. Fluff probably, but these days a bit of fluff can't hurt! I think I'd like the roller coaster ride you describe too. Love books! I read to mom sometimes - she doesn't understand, but it makes her feel like we are doing something together.

  5. I have not read Glitter and Glue. Sometimes Fluff books are just what you need...you can escape without having to think too hard. Gone Girl is definitely not fluff...you will not laugh even once while reading it.

  6. A very entertaining read. Hard to put down. Gave it as a gift to someone else who really didn't care for it. I'm undecided about seeing the movie. Films usually don't hold up to really good books. PS, I like that we read a lot of the same books. :-)

    1. I am happy you found me MaryAnn. I look forward to seeing what books you are reading and/or recommending. I have no desire to see this movie...I don't know how they can make it suspenseful when we (those who have read the book) know what is going on....
