A Perfect Start to a Perfect Evening #ItalianFWT

Start your next gathering with a Cheese and Wine platter.  I am featuring Italian Wines with my cheeseboard today.  I opened 3 of these bottles to serve as guests arrived and saved the Cecchi Riserva to pour with my main course.

Cheeseboard with Italian Wines

It's time for the Holiday Edition of Italian Food Wine and Travel.......

Prior to getting hit by a truck during my daily walk we had a small dinner party at the house.  I started he evening with  a cheese board and several bottles of Italian wine.  I was going to talk about all the pairings but blogging is a callenge right now so I am just sharing my favorite cheese and wine pairing from that evening.

wine and cheese

The winner for me was a creamy Gorgonzola with a White Moscato.  I discovered the scrumptiousness of blue cheese with a sweet wine awhile ago and it is now one of my favorite pairings.

The other members ofthe group wil be giving you much mre in-depth information.  Please stop by and see them.........

  5. I can't believe you still posted and I'm glad you're on your way to recovery. There is nothing like a good charcuterie with some great wine pairings.
