Cranberry Topped Crab Puffs #CranberryWeek

This easy and delicious appetizer is a great start to your Holiday gathering.  Creamy crab dip in filo cups topped with cranberry sauce are pretty to look at and scrumptious to devour.

These appetizers are perfect on a buffet or just on their own to serve up with pre-dinner drinks.  They only minutes to prepare and can be served hot or at room temperature.

Cranberry Topped Crab Puffs

Cranberry Topped Crab Puffs

This easy and delicious appetizer is a great start to your Holiday gathering. Creamy crab dip in filo cups topped with cranberry sauce are pretty to look at and scrumptious to devour.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/3 c. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 c. lump crab meat, minced
  • 1 scallion, white and light green parts, minced
  • 1 pkg. frozen phyllo shells, thawed

Instructions

  1. Whisk the cranberry sauce until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Combine the cream cheese, crab, and scallion together.
  3. Divide the crab mixture among the phyllo cups and place onto a baking tray.
  4. Top each phyllo cup with 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  5. Bake in a preheated 375* oven for about 10 minutes, until heated through.
