Anxious to see what the others fuel up on for Thanksgiving Breakfast?  Let's take a look......

I was approached by Selefina Spices and offered an opportunity to receive free product for use in recipe creation and product review on this blog.  I did not receive any monetary compensation and all writings and opinions are strictly my own.
Cranberry Powder

I really appreciated that Selefina provided me with a gift code so that I could choose the spices and seasonings that I wanted and needed.  I was intrigued when I saw the Cranberry Juice Powder, especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner.

I had never heard of nor tasted Cranberry Juice Powder before so I was anxious to give it a try.  This smoothie is my second experiment with it.  I was very pleased with the wonderful tart goodness it gave to the glaze I used on my Sweet Potato and Cranberry Quick Bread so I knew it would be perfect for flavoring this smoothie as well.

I used one teaspoon of the powder in this smoothie which will give me all the health benefits as if I had used cranberry juice or cranberry sauce.  This is a wonderful product to have in my spice drawer as I don't always have juice or sauce on hand and I can still get the same taste and effect.

  1. I'm intrigued about that powdered cranberry. I usually just throw some bagels or quick bread or fruit out and it's a DYI breakfast.
