Who says that ice cream is only for the summertime.  This Eggnog Ice Cream is perfect during the holidays.  I enjoyed mine curled up on the couch with a Christmas movie on the television.

Egg Nog Ice Cream

I was excited when I found this recipe over at Foodie with Family.  My husband is a huge eggnog fan.  He always looked forward to when McDonalds would bring out their seasonal eggnog milkshake.  They stopped offering that a couple of years back and he has been disappointed each year when he would check to see if they were offering them again.

Egg Nog Ice Cream

He was very excited when I presented him this Eggnog Ice Cream.  I love when after 30 years I can still occasionally surprise him.

I had to smile at how excited he was with such little effort on my part. Five Ingredients and Five Minutes and you too can surprise your family with this seasonal treat.

  4. I adore egg nog ice cream. When we were little, leftover eggnog was frozen and made into ice cream. Now there isn't any left!
