Christmas Tree Brownies #OurFamilyTable

These adorable little brownie trees are sure to bring a smile of delight to all your holiday gatherings.

They are easy to make and fun to eat. They are what's on Our Family Table this week as the From Our Dinner Table Group shares Brownie Recipes today.......

Here are all the tasty and tempting recipes being shared:

I started with a boxed mix but you can use your favorite brownie recipe if you want, just make sure to bake it in a round deep dish pie pan.

That way when you cut them you already have your Christmas Tree Shape and it is only a matter of adding the decorations of your choice.

The Teen and her friends loved these brownies.  I think Frank and I shared one while she and her friends had at it.  The next day she took the remaining brownies to school with her.  She said all her friends were fighting over them.  She also said she took credit for them.  I said "Okay, but you better watch out...Santa's on the way".

ingredients:

  • 1 batch of your favorite Brownie batter, homemade or boxed
  • 1 pouch cookie frosting
  • 1 container candy decorations

instructions:

How to cook Christmas Tree Brownies

  1. Place the brownie batter in a round deep dish pie pan that has been lightly treated with baking spray and bake per recipe instructions.
  2. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into 12 wedges.
  3. Remove wedges from pan to a piece of parchment paper.  Decorate the trees by forming "garland" with the icing using a fine tip.  Place "ornaments" onto the icing while it is still wet and let sit for at least 1 hr. until candies are securely adhered before moving to a serving platter.
