Just "Keep Going"~~ A Book Review and the Weekly Menu

I received an Advanced Copy of the book Keep Going by Austin Kleon from Workman Publishing.  In return, I agreed to take a photo of me reading the book and post it on social media.  I also agreed to write a couple of lines about my thoughts regarding this book.

As always all opinions and thoughts are completely my own.......
I want to start off by thanking my friend, Cam of Culinary Adventures with Camilla, for arranging this opportunity through our Lit Happens Book Club.

This book is not available for sale until April.  It would make a great Mother's Day gift.  It is a lovely, easy read that reminds you to be kind to yourself and to allow yourself to have fun.  It encourages you to seek out your creativity for no other reason than pure enjoyment of the process, regardless of the end product.

It was helpful to me as I sometimes feel guilty about spending so much time on my blog without receiving any compensation other than the occasional sponsor gifts, such as this book.  This book reminded me that I started blogging solely for my own enjoyment and that it is okay for me to continue to do so.  It helped me to realize that I can continue to write and blog for as long as it gives me enjoyment and that I can stop or take a break the moment it no longer does so.

Thus far, I am enjoying my time spent with all the friends I have made in the blogging community and with my faithful readers......so I will continue for now and share with you the Weekly Menu.

I didn't share a menu last week as we were on vacation in Arizona.  I did, however, do some cooking while I was there and will be sharing those recipes with you later this month.  I will also be sharing some photos of the sights we saw and the fun we had.

We returned home late last night.  Today is Epiphany, the last of the 12 days of Christmas.  Tomorrow we will start removing all the decorations for another year.

Here is the Weekly Menu....Please stop by each day as I share a bit of our Day in the Life on the Farm.  Happy New Year, May 2019 bring you many blessings.
